Selina & Charlie’s Wedding Photos at St Thomas Anglican Church in North Sydney, with Location Photos at Bradley’s Head and Reception at The Grand Pittwater Function Centre, North Ryde. Photos by Fuzzy Pear Studio Sydney Wedding Photography.
Selina and Charlie are a couple that care about the details. They paid attention to these, injecting their care and humour and own personalities into the plans to make their wedding their own. This was evident from the very start of the wedding preparations, when Charlie proposed to Selina, issuing an “Engagement Proposal Report” – a multi-page document for the proposal. The document outlined all the details involved with his proposal to Selina, from the possible dates, the ring, meeting with Selina’s parents, proposal method and even risks and uncertainties for the proposal!
On the wedding day, Selina was one of the very few brides we see that arrive early to the church. Most of the time, brides are either just on time, or a little late. Selina made sure to arrive at the church 30 minutes early just to have a photoshoot with her girlfriends. Ever the thoughtful one, she even brought along extra bouquets and flower crowns for her friends. We later saw this thought and care extended in her family when, after the ceremony, packed lunch boxes thoughtfully prepared by Selina’s family, were provided for each of the guests.
The church itself – St Thomas Anglican Church in North Sydney, is one of the best church wedding ceremony locations in Sydney. Not only is the church spectacular with its impressive arches and beautiful sandstone walls, but the grounds are an amazing backdrop for wedding photographs. We caught some lovely moments between Selina, Charlie and their bridal party in the gardens outside the church.
One of the last moments of the day was also one that the couple made their own. Both Charlie and Selina love food in their own way. While Charlie loves Maccas and KFC, Selina loves all the healthy options. So, at the end of the day when it came time for the bouquet toss, instead of throwing a bouquet to all the single ladies, Selina produced a fresh bunch of kale throw to all the boys! We had never seen a group of boys so excited about vegetables before – it was a great moment!
Selina and Charlie, thanks for bringing us along on your special day! We are sure you will have a happy, healthy and FUN future together!
